Electric cars are at a all-time high. They are cleaning the air and helping the enviorment but their are some major cons to it. But they are also a bad thing. If everyone switched to hybrids and electric cars and started charging their cars during the day or hot summer months while electricity demands are at a all-time high also, there will be major problems for electricity users. That is why Com-ed and other big electricity companies are urging people to charge their cars at night. They are also offering people cheaper electricity rates on nights to further urge people to charge at night. So in conclusion, in some way electric cars are actually hurting people
