Soccer

The Story behind our Soccer Coaching Books

When I started to coach soccer I did a couple of important things. I went to coaching schools to get international certification and I purchased all the soccer drills & coaching materials I could find: books, video tapes (CDs came later), and so on. I went and watched other teams practice, around the world. To prepare for my own team's practices, I looked at all the info I had, drew up the drills and brought a bunch of papers to the field. That became messy and I decided to neatly write each practice plan on a single piece of paper. Then, during my 20 years of coaching at all levels (kids mini soccer to university and adult amateur), fellow coaches kept asking me what the piece of paper was on my clipboard. When I showed them the complete practice plan including all soccer drills needed, the response was: "Wow, I wish we could buy something like this". And that is how the idea for Print & Go Soccer Drills and Practice Plans came about.
I then put together a professional soccer coaching team with a combined coaching experience of over 100 years to develop the best player and team development program anywhere! The result: Effective and entertaining soccer practice plans. We've done this for you and ensured that our practices work by testing them with real teams.
Then there were more questions: What about a season plan? What about the team focus? Fitness training: yes or no? During practice or separate sessions? Scrimmages? Speed and mental training? Where are the specific soccer drills for that? How about flexibility and stretching exercises? Any difference between age groups?
You will find these questions answered comprehensively only in our soccer coaching books.
We also developed a tool for you to develop hundreds of additional practices. You decide on a focus for the season and a theme for the practice and combine the drills to make it happen. If you want to run a practice involving more passing, use exercises with passing themes. Or sequence warm-up-technical-technical-tactical-scrimmage.
And finally, how would we get these materials to coaches who needed the right away? The answer: Downloadable books (e-books) that you can access from anywhere in the world at any time.
The printed material is supplemented by pictures of soccer specific stretches and soccer moves and by the soccer tips published on our web site Soccer Drills and Soccer Practice Plans
